dessert spring rolls!

Recipe: Ours again! Makes about 12 spring rolls.
Ingredients:
-About 2 bananas
-Half a carton of strawberries
-sugar
-vegan chocolate chips
-vegan (Earth Balance) margarine
-spring roll skins
-water

Instructions:
1. Cut up fruit into thin pieces, about 1 1/2 inches long.
2. Heat up margarine in a pan. (We found it easiest to do this assembly-line style.)
3. Set up a plate of lukewarm waters to soften the spring roll skins in.
4. Wet a spring roll skin (but not too the point of sogginess), dry with paper towel.
5. Fill with two pieces of banana and two of strawberry, along with a sprinkle of about 1 tbs. of sugar and some chocolate chips.
6. Wrap like a burrito. Tuck the edges in and roll.
7. Wet another spring roll skin and wrap again so there are two layers of spring roll skin (to prevent explosion!)
8. Lay in pan until brown.
9. Repeat until you have a plateful of spring rolls!
10. Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate.
11. Yum.

Inspiration: Our delicious banana dumpling adventure, along with a similar recipe we found online. Our love of sweet, chocolatey, fried things.

Notes:
-Smaller is better. Bigger spring rolls are difficult to roll and may explode.
-You may need to change the margarine to prevent smokiness. Sorry, roommates.

Result: Messy to eat, but definitely delicious. Our friends liked them too.
